Well, actually, as I suspect you know, it isn't a matter of "how they approach their own evolution" but of how they were instructed (I was always told that comfort was the priority). And assuming I got the same instruction as everyone else, even if some of them *did* know that other approaches recommended an erect posture, again they were following the instructions for *this* approach, so (1) isn't accurate either.
