Why should we haggle for a car when we don't anything else? I'm not bad at it as I find out the invoice price, set what I feel is a fair price and will walk if I don't get it (car salesmen hate people who walk). I also often show up in funky clothes and get the least experienced salesman that way as the experienced ones think I'm someone who won't be buying anyway. I watched for the dealer to get their shipment in and pounced. I probably got the owner's grandson as salesman who was really green (got him to agree to all kinds of things) and the senior salesman was pissed because I took a car he thought he had sold. I was also lucky in that I was able to pay cash and not pay some bank 1/3 again the price of the car. They had the sales idea right with the Saturn but I'm not sure they do that anymore. And then I noticed the Saturn my friends had fell apart rather easily. ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Yahoo! Groups gets a make over.
