P.S.: That's why some laws are overturned by the Supreme
Court. It's entirely possible to *pass* a law that abrogates
a constitutionally guaranteed right, and that has happened
many times.

If these fanatics ever get into office, the courts are
going to be very busy.
Absolutely! It's very possible to pass laws that violate constitutional rights and that is why the supreme court gets the final say as to whether a law is constitutional or not. The supreme court is already very busy. These "fanatics" have always been in office, since day one and the laws change to reflect the majority and what they want as long as it is constitutional.
