Yes, this is true, unfortunately; You can fool some of the people some of the time, But not all of the people, all of the time. I do remember back to one of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's appearances, in American Television; Back then, it was called the: "Dick Cavette Show" and approapriately so... As Mr. Cavette could sometimes present himself as a dick. Anyway, He's a little bi-polar(Mr. Cavette, that is), so I give him credit for even holding down the postition. Anyway, Mr. Cavette had Maharishi on and was interviewing him; Maharishi just having returned from Japan to New York, where the interview was being taped. So, Mr. Cavette pressed Maharishi, Saying, "So, Maharishi, I hear you are teaching people to levitate? 'Yes, Maharishi, responded... And some of them can do this, actually levitate? Well, first stages we call it, Maharishi says... Well, says Mr. Cavette, pressing for an answer... Can you levitate yourself?? I am busy teaching around the world, Maharishi says... Well, but if you wanted to, here and now, could you levitate, for us to see, like right now, Maharishi, like now! Mr.Cavette, seemed to chide Maharishi, by pulling on his Dhoti, Which really annoyed Maheshi to the Max, and I do mean, he was disturbed, to be touched, by the infidel.. So, you're saying you can't do it now? Mr. Cavette asked? I don't remember anymore of the interview after that: It is 'blacked out' in my memory banks, so if anyone can find a copy... Anyway, I don't think, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, appeared on American televison, ever again, to my knowledge... R.G.
