Westerner's want pop star gurus.   They will pass over some local Indian 
astrologer who might actually be a master tantric and be able to teach 
them magnitudes more and answer all your questions.  But that takes 
work.  You need to test the guru as much as he will test you.   It is 
easier to join the "daddy figure" pop guru whose fame seems to validate 
their authority although they may be only able to give you crumbs of 
knowledge.
