The peace movement and hopefulness of the sixties;
The attitudes of brotherhood, and Idealism...
These attitudes flew by the wayside;
Since the eighties and the making of money as the goal of life.
Somehow the ideas of idealism, were relegated to the 'Hippies',
And now was the time to throw away those notions,
Get dressed and show up- to become a robotic money making machine-
obsessed, and worrying, do we need more insurance, honey?
Always needing more and more ego boosting products, in a never ending lust for more and more of nothing real, but only that which pretends to be real, for only short periods, until the meter runs dry, and asks for more spare change...
