First of all, Israel cannot be compared to "Other Middle Eastern Countries", or to France or to any other country on the face of this earth. This is because of the history of the Jewish people. The history of the Jewish people is long and if you would like to know how long it is, read the Bible. Not only is it old, but it is filled with horrific tragedy. The most recent of tragedies, which is even hard to imagine; Is the holocaust of Nazi Germany, while the rest of the world stood by and watched, though it is said they 'did not know'; I guess the Germans, in the fields saw the ashes flying out the top of the chimney's of the cremitoriums, and 'looked the other way'. Now, I am not saying that now the Jews have the right to behave as the Nazis did... Which can be said, that in many ways, they have fell to this level of barbarism. Nonetheless, we have to understand the passion of the Jewish people; For the very right of existence, which was threatened in 20th century Europe. (depending on the French for anything is as ridiculous a notion, as I have heard; and if the French were threatened in this way, they would wait for the United States to save them, as before.) Now, the second major point, about the Arab state of mind; Who knows? Wives, many wives is ok; Oil lot's of oil is ok; Slaves, lot's of slaves is ok; Suicide, lot's of suicide is ok; Praising the suiciders is ok, and lot's of praises is ok; Condemning woman to second class citizens is ok, and doing that to lot's of women is ok; So, let's see, the Arabs are fighting us, selling us there damn oil, roiling us into their internal battles amoungst themselves; Double-dealing with the Iraqi's and Saddam, in the eighties, when Mr. Rumsfeld is seen shaking Saddam's hand, firmly. Double-dealing with Iran, when the hostages were released on Reagan's Inauguration Day... Double-dealing with the Iranians again, in the late eighties. So, the typical Israeli Jew, remembers the world of the holocaust; A world where he/she had no right to exist. Where his woman, his sisters, daughters, mothers, and son's raped, and murdered... So, do not be surprised if Israel trusts no one, let alone other nations to protect it. Even the United States, plays both sides of the fence. So, this is reality. Deal with it. The solution, the final solution?
