I first heard this “murder” story when I was in college, about 1971. A fellow student, an Indian girl, told me that Guru Dev and his entourage used to stay at her parents’ house – I think in Allahabad. She believed MMY had poisoned GD. I found the info both preposterous and too shocking to discuss. I mentioned her to MMY a few months later without bringing up the accusation. He seemed to remember her family.
