Before I took the TM-Sidhis course, I spent an evening
with a TM teacher friend of mine. We did our program
together, but in different rooms. I started later so
we'd finish around the same time.

About five minutes into my meditation period, I
suddenly began feeling these odd little tingly
sensations in my head--very difficult to describe,
not really physical, but quite distinct. They
came and went for a few minutes, then stopped.

It was strange enough that I mentioned it to her
when we were done. She laughed and said it was
probably "the impulse from the flying sutra."

At that point I had no idea when the flying sutra
was used during the program; and I certainly
couldn't hear anything from the room she was
doing her program in. Nor did I have any idea
what she meant by "the impulse from th flying
sutra." I was pretty skeptical that the tingles
had anything to do with it.

After I learned the TM-Sidhis, I thought back
on that occasion. Not only had the tingly
sensation been exactly what I was now experiencing
myself with the flying sutra, but the timing was
on the nose.
