Hi... I'm not in Fairfield, but was talking to a friend who's in Fairfield...Apparently Maharishi wants more people to come to group program and was wondering how to encourage higher attendance. (The call yesterday afternoon?)
I mentioned to her, that from some of these posts,I get the impression that many aren't allowed in because of association with this or that, and that it would be good for someone to tell Maharishi during one of the question periods -- what's been going on about restricting access, and thus numbers aren't what they could be (?)... My friend said that she didn't think that this is going on anymore, that things are more open now. So, if this is true -- re: restricting access because someone practices non-movement jyotish, or goes to a talk by another guru, or whatever -- as long as people are doing their program, why should there be restrictions re: dome priviledges? So, wouldn't it be helpful to tell Maharishi directly, especially now, when there seems to be an opening with these phone calls, and he questioned it directly yesterday? If there is restricted access, and if you're one of the ones who would like to go again, get a friend to tell Maharishi during a meeting -- todays perhaps -- as it's his concern right now. Personally, I feel it's none of anybody's business what people do in their private time. Apparently in Europe,(again, hear-say and conclusions I reached with very little information) -- the movement is much more open-minded about these kindof things.
