This post is a good example of why a few, simple, additional "implementation guidelines" are needed.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/message/114071 And would help clean up excessive and insipid posts, which are driving, and have driven, away many solid and constructive posters. Particularly since the onslaught of AMTers. AMTers who appear to love to flaunt and ignore the FFL guidelines. Specifically, under proposed guidelines, posters exceeding 5-10% of total posts per month would be allowed to enjoy "posting samadhi" (aka suspended) for a week or two. Thus posters who flaunt their tiviality would be limited in their silly trivialities, and/or compulsive extremes, that clog the arteries of FFL. And this specific SUB-thread would be re-title: ONE_LINER: Its Official: FFL has Become the Personal Chat Room for AMTers Thus those bored by insipid one-liners by people who can't seem to stop themselves, would have clearly titled posts for easy skipping. The separate thread "Its Official: FFL has Become the Personal Chat Room for AMTers" would remain for posters wishing to discuss that topic. These are hardly obtrusive or heavey-handed guidelines. They will not limit the activities of posters who live by the spirit of the guidelines. They will simply reduce gross violations of the guidelines. Voice support, or constructive alternatives, to the proposed new guidelines. FFL can be nutured back to vibrant health with your help. --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, "authfriend" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, "sparaig" <sparaig@> wrote: > > > > --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, "authfriend" <jstein@> wrote: > > > > > > --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, "sparaig" <sparaig@> wrote: > > > > > > > > --- In FairfieldLife@yahoogroups.com, "authfriend" <jstein@> > wrote: > > > > > > > > > > This is the most amazing set of fantasies from Barry. > > > > > > > > > > Not a single thing he says here is true. > > > > > > > > > > Does he really *believe* what he's saying, or is he > > > > > posting things he knows to be total crap because he > > > > > thinks others will believe it? > > > > > > > > > > Either way, he's delusionary. > > > > > > > > Wot she said... > > > > > > Damn right. > > > > Duuuude... > > Dig it, yo. > To subscribe, send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/ and click 'Join This Group!'
