My understanding of the sports mechanics are that the hip and knees
are working against each other in the lotus position, and the hip will
always win. To make it work for me I had to do a lot of hip
streaching so the hip joint wouldn't pull my knees. Now that I have
spent years making my hip joint stable with core exercises that
position is out of the question for me these days.

Speaking of lunch, I eat a lot of Vietnamese food where I live. Does
Fairfield have any Vietnamese restaurants yet?
