I ate out a lot. Some of it was good (especially the
Indian food), *all* of it was overpriced (Dublin is
now officially the most expensive city in Europe to
be a tourist in), but much of it was still overcooked,
even in supposedly fancy restaurants where the chef
should have known better.

I hope so, too. 

Given all the sad times, it's great that they've 
developed a sense of humor about it all, and can
now laugh about the hard times. As with the Tibetan 
people, I consider that a sign of evolution.
