I'm replying because I want to drop all this talk of Shemp and home in on your suggestion that working in the financial field can have a profound effect on people. I have to admit that I have noticed this, too. I've done consulting work for banks, brokerage houses, mutual funds, and insurance companies. And I found that the chances of running into a liberal there were not good. Curious. There's a Ph.D. thesis in there somewhere...
