Except, of course, that a significant number of people who have not only met/been in the same room with MMY but have spent considerable time with him revere him at least as much as anyone who hasn't. Me, I've never been anywhere near MMY, and I've never revered him. I do have enormous respect for what I've read and seen/heard on video/audiotape of what he *says* about the nature and mechanics of consciousness (as opposed to his political/social views); I can't imagine how that would change if I spent time with him, even if I were to decide he's all the Bad Things others have said about him. Whether any of the above applies to Jobs, I have no idea.
