What I like it for--I have mine set so that I can either right-click and open a new tab or more often I just hold down the command key and click on numerous links on a page I'm reading. When I'm done with the page I'm on, I just click on the tabs to move to the other pages (links clicked on can be set to open in their own tabs) and they're already open and loaded. Also you can select "always show tab bar" and the space for the tabs is always there, much nicer IMO. This is all on Safari 2.0.4

but what is the big advantage with tabs and tabbed browsing?  I've tried them, and I see little difference in how my browser works, except that there's less room available when they're working due to the little window (or whatever it's called) that opens underneath the bookmarks (I'm using Safari).  They're supposed to make it easier to load a page that you've recently visited, but don't most pages stay "loaded" for several days anyway?  Those of you that use them and like them, what exactly do you see as the advantage?  I feel like I must be missing out on some amazing features here, but I'm not sure why.
