Can't say, but if it were explained to him that she'd done the book 14 years ago and almost immediately strongly regretted it, I'd hope he would understand that she'd made a big mistake (especially if he were shown the books she's writing now, i.e., children's books). If he couldn't understand that people make mistakes and that they can change, that would be too bad, wouldn't it?
