MMY had a small group of guys that he used as sidhis guinea pigs for several years (I think that long) before he began experimenting on the larger 6 month courses. One guy in that small group has stated that MMY talked about "americans always wanting new and improved" and MMY feeling pressured to come up with something else besides TM to keep the movt going. Charley Lutes, who remained pro MMY till the end, said consistently in his talks that he felt MMY rushed bringing the sidhis out due to financial troubles that arose in the movt after the Merv wave suddenly collapsed.
