I loved that movie. But I don't consider it a gangster movie as much as it is about a hood (the Terence Stamp character). As for being British: it was directed by an American (Stephen Soderberg) and 98% of the movie takes place in L.A. But great movie and it was nice to see both Peter Fonda and Stamp so good on screen.
