Sad in the sense of where I'd have to be to find this thing as glowingly wonderful as he describes it. It makes me sad to think of what it would mean to still be clinging to that particular golden fleece, waiting for these guys you can't talk to or interact with to arrive. 

It's like going back to your hometown and finding the people who never left that culture and having never left, don't recognize the difference.

I am happy that it's making the few remaining TM people happy and that they finally got what they paid for.

I also wonder if the very public critiques that have been aired on this list have helped bring some small bit of accountability so this could happen.
