People move on because they want to move on. Some moved on because they were offended, for valid reasons or invalid reasons, but it isn't the TMO's place to try to hold onto people. And assuming that the money is there to keep the pundits inplace indefinitely, even YOUR assumption--that the TMO needs to placate old-time TMers in order to make certain projects happen--doesn't hold.
