Since I don't have kids I enjoy being the mayor of munchkin town for an evening. When we were kids we used to perform a trick for our treat. Did anyone else grow up with that custom? I used to recite an ever so ribald poem to the slightly toasted adults in our neighborhood. It was a formative experience for me becoming a performer. I think that was a nicer custom than the slightly menacing "give us a treat or we play a trick on your house" vibe of some kids today.
