I
read all of those things letters websites you name it.. Yet I can say
that Earl has been an odd ball his whole life. ( so have I) Figure I have
known Earl and David since we were kids. With all the money they
have and their parents have spent with Maharishi I would take it that they
just did not understand that it was just time to move on.
You
expect him to be what we are not. You expect some perfection that does
not exist anywhere. The perfection of Maharishi is that he came
and opened the west to things that have greatly changed the world we live
in. I feel for the better. We should be blessed to be in
the pressence of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi if for no other reason he gives a lot
to talk about.
Have
you ever noticed that people who are the most successful are also the most
contraversial. Someone once said that the more people talk about
you, the more you should smile let them talk until you become a household
name. Then you will know that you are a success. Well
Maharishi has been a success over and over again. I knew David
and Earl I think I went to David's first wedding, I really liked
them both because I could not always tell the difference. They both
stayed on courses and also stayed in deep water. Some would say they
were contraversial, because they had a tendancy to think they could show up
at school anytime and be allowed to attend.
Imagine
if they never meditated. Imagine if there was no tm, no punditji, no
MIU, just plain old Christianity. Imagine if you thought and
acted just like George Bush. Imagine a world where by now we would be
in an all out nuclear war. This is life without
Maharishi. I need to write this one for me. People can say
whatever but he had the balls and the vision to come out to bring whatever
it is he brought to the world.
I
admire people with courage. I have courage because of Maharishi.
In that way Maharishi really messed me up. He allowed me to
develop courage, strength inner motivation and vision. He created tune
up programs for people who get burnt out in the field. I
understand that experience. It takes great effort and sacrifice to
make major impact. Even one may fail or succeed this doesn't really
have anything to do with it. Impact is felt in the effort.
Every action has an effect on world consciousness, a thought introduced by
Einstein yet demonstrated by Maharishi. If not for Maharishi I
do not know if Einstein would be understood.
As
for me I can tell you that it takes a lot to be a Maharishi.
There are people who think that if he shits he is not a true
rishi. I have seen a small glimpse of what happens.
I have seen what it is like to hear people Oh ______ is so sweet so
wonderful when he is on top. Then when an eb comes he is a
crook, a liar a thief, a child molester, a rapist. I was once at
Agape church in California and a guy who thought of himself as a psychic was
telling people all he knew about me.
He
told them that I raped women at MIU. That I busted into their rooms
and raped them. I LOUIS THOMAS MCKENZIE have never in my life forced a
woman, to have sex if she did not want to. At MIU I had very
little sex. Yet this guy was an expert on me, not just me anyone
African American who had been somewhat popular in the TM/Art of living
circles.. He caused a lot of negativity. But I thought he was
the most stupid pretender on the planet. Another time I was with
a bigot who pretended to be psychic in greece, in a restaurant. She
says watch your purses everyone Louis might steal one. I thought
what a stupid person. People do and say all kinds of things reflective
of who they think they are. As a person of color people are
even more apt to believe the bull than one of non color. Michael
Jackson is a child molester no matter what the jury voted, OJ Simpson is a
murderor, Nelson Mandela is not a great leader but a killer as one 15 year
old south african brazilian white skinned girl told me.
In
the end Maharish might end up living in a cave penniless and with not one
follower. Thank God he may not live that long. But this is just
what happens. Loyalty is as good as one's ability to keep you
loyal. I was in greece for an LRT related program.
As my life goes I was doing something that I did not have the money to
do. The program was expensive. I got myself and two others
through it. Yet what people chose to talk about was that I might steal
because I said that when I was a child I stole from my uncle's money
cabinet.
If
I could have 1/1000th of the positive impact Maharishi has had on the planet
I would be happy. Yet I guess you may say he screwed me up
becuase I wont stop until I do. Looking to see what more can I
do to serve humanity to make a difference for someone else. This
is what I have gotten from MMY. Why not make it a phenomenon if that
will make people do it?
The
question is where do I want to be. I could sit here and talk
about how life sucks, this or that is a complete rip off but what is the
point? I am out on a limb for God. I am 1000% interested
in making a contribution on the planet. One big reason I am in
brasil. A country where saying good morning as you walk down the
street is thought to be weird. Where you have people who live in
giant mansions and people who live in the streets. The numbers are
imbalanced. The only way to create balance is to balance not talk about it
or mock it. If pundits coming to the west to chant and do programs 24
hours per day, can assist in makinf a better world, then let them
begin.
If
it will help why not create a large facility where pundits of various
religions come together to do the same. Yet that to me is not
enough. Guys like David and Earl should be out creating their
own enlightenment villages. Utilizing the alternative resources
that are now available. This is great use of the mind. Not
simply by building expensive Stapatya ved houses but also providing for
those who are not as fortunate. Madonna has helped to build an
orphange and adopted one child. I have adopted children.
If I can change one life. Maybe I can not change millions of lives but
one, maybe that one will do five, and if we are lucky maybe someone else
will do the same, and another and another and then maybe, just maybe we can
change the world.
Every
minute I ask my self am I doing all that I can to make positive
change. If the answer is no then I go within and make a
shift. In Brasil education is low on the hiearchy of
needs. Food is principal for many so their children go
uneducated, the parents are ileterate, the children the same and the
children's children. 80% illieteracy imagine. Brazil
in resources is one of the wealthiest countries on the planet. The
usual procedure is to come into the country make as much money as possible
from the resources and screw as many women as possible and
leave.
VERY
FEW people who come to Brasil look to make social change. If not
for the time I spent at MIU Maharishi INternational University I may not be
here, a guy planted a seed look to Brazil for future investment.
A trustee who formed an investors club. Brazil is one of
the few countries where it is possible to take a resource and make
billions. So you make money, not enough it is what you do with
it, that matters. Having fancy cars is nice but one day, one week, one
year, of a life worth living for 1, 2, 3, 40, 50 100, 1000, 2000, as many
children as possible and wathching them go from starved to higher spectrum
of the age group weight wise. Watch young girls feel safe with
themselves and their bodies. Letting them know that they are safe and
protected., Providing housing education and medical care. Now this is
something. Making prostitution understood as an old school error
and not a form of salvation for as many young women as possible. Allowing
them to discover the possibilites of a creative mind.
The
ability to think in this manner is something that comes from being close to
someone like MMY. I have a friend, soulmate, Guru playmate who
is being considered for the nobel piece prize, for the service he is
doing around the planet. Once while on one of his courses I felt a union
that was so strong with him. Then I felt a saddness that was even
greater. Because I knew I did not need to be near him in a physical
way anymore. I knew I would not be. Within two years things had
changed. I have seen him physically one time since. I
hold my Guru within me.
Sorry
for the discourse, but I have been feeling this. Also I am
making a statement to myself and the univers a reaffirmation of
sorts. WHO AM I...... Yet what I can tell you is to
provide all of the above and not TM I have done only a portion of what I can
do. I have friends who are on this course there in fairfield
they go all the time. I envy them. Yet I love Maharishi because
instead of making enough money with some business, going to temple
with a pretty wife and shining for the congregation to see, which he
could have done, he chose to step out and make a difference. He chose
to work day and night to do that. It was because he did that,
that I am alive, never been to prison, never been considered a homo,
and never commited suicide, these were my options in the town I grew up
in. These were the options of my cousins and a large generation of
African American men.
If
not for maharishi maybe I could be the subject with two guns.
Maybe TM philosopher course junkies ex pimps would still be pimps if not for
MMY. Maybe you would be a cowboy? GW type. You know; how
many people can you send to the electric chair? Maybe if not for
Maharishi you would weigh 400 lbs eat two steaks and a dozen eggs for
breakfast, make stinking horrible farts and stink even with
deodorant. Or even worse maybe be a cocaine freak.
Maharishi
is perfect because he is who he is. You and I are perfect to.
The problem is not in Maharishi's lack of appreciation of our
perfection. The problem is our own lack of appreciation of
ourselves. When I see my virtue I can not help but be
grateful. WHen I see my lack I understand my
resentment. WHen I see my failure I understand my blame, when I
see my success I understand my courage. When I see my love of humanity
I understand that I have been loved. More than I love Maharishi
I give thanks that Maharishi loved me.
He
showed me that love by letting me slip through the cracks.
Letting find my way from the streets of NYC to The POD OF FFIA.
Letting me round and round and round some more. Giving me enough
of a glimpse to have a small even subtle idea of the leader I could
be. I am grateful for this. Excuse the long
blah........... I needed to do this.......

...maybe you should
start him on the Sexie Sadie tapes and then move
him on to the Earl
letter...
