It would seeem appropriate that "insulters" carry on their cheap
thrills behind closed door, and refrain from "doing it in the road".
If enough posters consistantly call them on their rude behaviours, I
believe it will have an effect. Though periodically people post how
things have gone downhill with the advent of flamewars here on FFL, no
one directly and consistently directly responds to each insult and
remind posters that this is inappropriate.

Turq actually is responsive periodically to such points. He gets on
the kind poster wagon for a bit but then tends to fall off the wagon
reverting to past ways that muck up FFL with lots of sludge. Lets hope
Turq an others can, stay "sober" from their apparently addictive cheap
thrills of petty insults. Lets help them stay on the wagon via
unrelenting peer pressure when they go on a cheap-thrills binge.

FFL Guidelines
"This group has long maintained a thoughtful and considerate tone.
Please refrain from personal attacks, insults and excessive venting.
"Speak the truth that is sweet" is a worthy aspiration. If angry, take
some time to gain composure before writing or pushing the send button."

These fill up here but add

Agreed. It really is a pervasive sludge.
