Deafening silence, ever since. I followed the S&P 500 myself, because it seemed like a fun thing to do. I almost felt like one of those stock traders I used to write software for. :-) Thanks for your input, BTW. As should be obvious, I don't know much about statistics per se. I'm more interested in how they are *used*, which sadly often seems to have little to do with the data itself.
