I use Dr. Blair down in Keosauqua. There have been way too many horror stories about JeffCo Hospital for me to ever trust them. One friend of mine went there when she had a miscarriage, and they just let her sit there, bleeding, not doing anything for her. After a few hours, she went to Ottumwa, and they took care of her. She wrote about the experience on her blog, and JeffCo Hospital had their lawyers send threatening letters to her. > On Nov 24, 2006, at 7:39 PM, ffia1120 wrote: > > > Hi Art, > > I don't know you but have lived in FF 26 years (undergrad and grad from > > MIU). > > > > Best vet - Fairfield Vet Clinic, on west Burlington (there is a > > meditator vet on E. We've used them ever since. > > Best Chiropractor - again, not a meditator, but a real bone > > cracker who gets the job done and explains everything he is > > doing -- Dr. Hunt on S. I use Dr. Crossland, and I like that he's strictly walk-in, first come, first served. He doesn't take appointments. Donald Patrick is also good.
