taarakam sarva-viSayaM sarvathaa-viSayam akramaM
ceti (ca+iti) vivekajaM jñaanam
Taimni's translation:
55. The highest knowledge born of the awareness
of Reality (viveka-jaM jñaanam) is transcendent (taarakam),
includes the cognition of all objects simultaneously
(sarva-viSayam), pertains to all objects and processes
whatsoever in the past, present and future (sarvathaa-viSayam)
and also transcends the World Process (akramam).
Vocabulary:
taarakam transcendent; that which helps to 'cross over'
(the ocean of existence)
sarva-viSayam cognizing all objects at once or simultaneously
sarvathaa-viSayam pertaining to all objects whatsoever in the
past, present and future; pertaining to all objects
