Subject: [rimeshedrubling] This weekend! Winter Teachings w/ Khachab Rinpoche

  The Winter Teachings 2006

  Rime Shedrub Ling and
  Younge Khachab Rinpoche
Welcome you to a weekend of Buddhist Dharma
  December 8-10th

Rinpoche has offered to introduce these two most important and precious
transmissions to his students. They are the essence of what Rime Shedrub Ling
is about and it is his wish that we practice these with diligence and pure
motivation to benefit all sentient beings.

Dorje Yudronma; Lady of the Vajra Turquoise Lamp
Our wish-fulfilling jewel and protector of Rime Shedrub Ling, Rinpoche and
the sangha. Quick and generous she has been associated with the Longchen
Nyingtig, and Dzogchen lineages in general, helping yogis and yoginis through
hardship. Rinpoche will bestow the outer, inner and secret practices - the
medicine queen, the wish fulfilling goddess and the primordial sky-dancer as
transmitted from the great Guru Padmasambhava himself through Longchen Rabjampa.

  Lhamo Loma-gyonma (Parnashavari)
This is a female aspect of the great healing energy of the Buddha and her
teachings are very powerful. Her name translates roughly as the Leaf-wearing
solitary ascetic Goddess. Her mantra is known to cure the rampant diseases,
personal and global, as well as environmental poisonings of the area and
practitioners. This is a very rare initiation in the West. Rinpoche says "This
is as or more important than Chod for my students to do"

A full day will be dedicated to each of these amazing practices. It is
Rinpoche's intent that we integrate these into our daily commitments to
strengthen the Vajrayana and develop a true ability to heal others who suffer
from physical or mental difficulties.

Friday 7-9pm The Importance of Motivation and View
Saturday 10-12 and 2-4pm Dorje Yudronma
  Sunday 10-12 and 2-4pm Lhamo Loma-gyonma
Each Empowerment is followed by Tsog, or offerings of blessed food.

Due to the nature of commitment and Rinpoche's desire to be personally
available for his students, one must have refuge vows. There will be an
opportunity to take Bodhisattva and Refuge prior to the event. Please contact
if you have questions.
Held at: Quarry Arts Building #150
715 Hill St. Madison, WI ( East of Whole Foods)
Suggested Donation for entire weekend $125 No one turned away for inability
to pay. Donations go to support Rinpoche's project of building a retreat center
in the Midwest.
