OK, it's been out for some time, and Apple hasn't advertised it yet. They will...
http://developer.apple.com/graphicsimaging/quartz/quartzcomposer.html I learned about it today when I read that someone had hacked the wii wireless game controller for control of Quartz Composer on MacOS X. They were using it to play around with Google Earth in the demo. The thing is, ANY program on the Mac can now be controlled with wii controller because of how MacOS X and Quartz Composer work. And that is the tip of the iceberg. This is the most important consumer bit of software I've seen since Pong was first ported to a home computer. You can output the viewer in realtime or as a qucktime movie automatically by clicking on the right bubble in the viewer controller. And the inputs can be anything, including an iSight webcam in realtime (and/or a wii controller): http://www.samkass.com/blog/ http://www.zugakousaku.com/index.php?m=project&id=quartz&s=sample&=jp
