I tought all this stuff too but then I went Tibetan Buddhist and it's basically
the same idea of theocracy except since it's Buddhism no Theo is involved. In a
sense the enlightened king is the perfect ruler, though it's an anachronism and
outmoded and not gonna happen again. But there's no reason not to let the fools
wear their batcapes and run around like dharmachakravartins and do their stuff
from within awareness. It all pushes back the morphagenic field on human
possibility, so what the hell? Might as well let all spiritual aspirants run
their race and see who gets to the finish. They are all better than
capitalistic commercialistic consumerism which is very lacking in art or
humanity. Imagine Mtv as moral arbiter of the age.

Are you implying that the TM-org is an ego trip.??

I heard that Exc. Hagelin strongly opposed the price hike of TM, but
Maharishi insisted that the prices be jacked up.

Is Maharishi really an autocrat.?? Does he listen to suggestions.??

All revolutions eventually run out of steam. They repeat the same
mistakes the previous power structure did.

Atleast SSRS is building a Grassroots mov't. Teach people the technique,
philosophy and create peace in a slow and gradual way.

This Global Country of World Peace with Clown suits and burger king
Crowns, 'Peace Palaces', futile butt bouncing' is just a pile of 'Pig Muck'.

"The whole country will be geared towards the motto: one leader - one party -
one ideology," he added.

Sort of alike but shades of difference. Venezuela in the realm of politics
and government they got democracy a.k.a. `power of the people' giving their
power over to an autocrat then heading towards a totalitarian state with the
strongmen.

With Maharishi and the TMorg he has been the autocrat & the ego of the
institution under it from early on all along. At times with faces of theocracy,
autocracy and then totalitarian. Its name to MUM and M everything, you have a
cult theocracy with megalomaniacal messianic narcissists at the helm here.

Maharishi now more commonly closes off critical discussion of how things are
going by saying, "Mind your own business". It evidently is big business, which
makes it different from State political structures. But similarly, power
corrupts, as they say. & Infinite power corrupts infinitely?

Probably there also is similarity to the TMorg with things about the slide
through the Iranian revolution, from the Shaw as autocrat displaced to
theologic state to autocrat in Kohmeni, then the totalitarianism of the
Ayatollahs. Revolutionary theology was utopian as it started out and then
supplanted by the strongmen under the revolution all along, ending up
totalitarian. Mighty big power struggle and play under it all. Not unlike the
TMO.
