I've worked with over a dozen people over the years who had "head
pressure" as we used to call it. In every case teaching them how to
move energy with their basic female and male channels (and bring
them into a balanced "center") would stop the pressure and bring
balance. It's called the microcosmic orbit.
Of course, that would no longer be TM...
Duh.
It's done in addition to TM, to relieve the rather common negative
side-effects. Shakti released haphazardly through the body can really
wreak havoc on internal organs. What worries me is the negative
effects on the body in the long term due to ojas depletion. If that's
what is happening, you should expect to see a higher incidence of
certain diseases, cancers, weird sensitivities (food and emotional)
and early mortality along with various issues with the underlying
personality structures, depression, etc.
Of course it is possible that once certain people realize the
negative impact of the practice for them, they may want to make some
changes or drop TM, but that would vary from person to person. For
some people it may be just fine.
