Not the point, as noted.

And in any case, as I've also noted (and Vaj has 
conveniently ignored), what we see in the area of
MMY's compound is not the natural lay of the land
but a grid pattern of straight lines and 90-degree
angles clearly imposed by humans.  So there's no
issue of MMY's compound not following the "natural"
terrain in the first place; what it doesn't follow
is the older human-made grid pattern.
