Ahem.... Ford was VP to Nixon. He didn't need to trade any thing. He would  
have been President anyway had Nixon been tried and found guilty. Ford's hunger 
 for the Presidency? Please explain in some detail. Ford's hunger was for 
Speaker  of the House according to his own words.
