Even if you don't have the opportunity to set up a puja room, you can set aside some corner of the bedroom or some other room. And once the puja table is set up, it's so easy to do puja, and it does feel great and it really does set things up. Even if you can't do puja, it's so easy to do the ararti; waving the camphor lamp and singing "karpuragauram karunavataram . . ., etc." is great entirely on its own. Such a perfect point to place attention. For what it's worth (and as if it wasn't already obvious), I totally recommend trying it out as an experiment.
