There is no way any rational person would ever try to point out all of Vaj's countless lies. This distortion is one that I am sure he knows he is making knowingly. There is no way TM is just Manasika-japa, there is isn't only one difference, besides the two false ones he claims here.( the whole principle of effortlessness for one) You're given "the mantra of your beloved" when that is possible. The teaching is the whole thing, the real thing, it is all contained within the TM technique and it is expanded in all its complexity to the greatest number of people by none other than MMY. And thank god for MMY.
