I recommend, as one of the best films of the year, a very, very, very, *very* strange but hauntingly beautiful film called "Perfume: The Story of a Murderer." One of the most sensual films ever made, fascinated with one sense in particular -- smell -- and the relationship between that sense and emotion and the ability to enslave the minds of men. The director is Tom Tykwer, of "Run Lola Run" and "The Princess and the Warrior."
