Unlike some Hollywood stars I've bumped into, Redford looks much better in person than he does in his photos, most of which are taken in artificial lighting and surroundings. He had a house in Santa Fe, and I ran into him one day on a desert road in bright day- light, in his *environment*. He looked great.
