See my followup. Her story is possible.

Knowing the world of television a bit and the 
craziness it engenders, if there is any hanky-
panky going on here, it's probably more likely 
that a guest at the taping, knowing the topic 
and looking young for her age already, might 
fudge her real age on her 'audience card' in
the hope it might get her on Oprah.
