Here's one for ya. Hubert Dreyfus of UCBerkeley, one of the great living
philosophers, tells this story. One of his graduate students (Denise D-G, I
assume) once wangled him into getting initiated. During the final night of
checking someone made the mistake of asking him what he thought. His response
(I don't have the exact quote as I was too busy listening) was something
Kierkegaardian like, "If I were the devil himself, I would come back as this
guy (Maharishi)." I heard the leaders at the Berkeley Capital were none too
pleased.

What "sterness" are we talking about?
I suspect he'd be rather

I remember when I asked a 7th dimensional master about MMY is 1999. His name
was D'Hartma. I asked
him: What do you think of MMY? He said he has a decent sense of humor. He's a
little trickster. He likes
to play a game called lets see how far i can get. I then asked him if i was
soul twin to him? He said-no
your soul is motivated by honesty and honor. Then I asked: And his isn't? He
replied, i know what motivates him. I asked-Money? He said yes. Blessed the
being and the path he is on. Bless all beings for we all are finding our own
way in our own time. Just a thought regarding the trickster in MMY. But let's
face it, there has been no teacher from India who could get thousands of people
to meditate. His laugh, his face, the funny sound of his voice, his compelling
presence is so wonderful. Seeing him on video for his 90th birthday was
special. I wish the leaders in his movement could give him what he really
wanted. They think they are but I could sense he was happy but also sad. Saint
Anthony has told me that everyone will say he was all about money. He went on
to say that this is not all true. He really cares about the world and wanted
world peace. With all of his own mistakes and hangups I love him so much. Love
and Light. Lou Valentino.
