Luther as a phony have discouraged Luther's followers?

Get real.  Reformers and innovators always get dissed
as phonies by the establishment, especially if they're
successful.  And Maharishi had pretty thoroughly dissed
the establishment as well.

And in any case, as I recall, the students of the
Shankaracharya to whom you spoke had no firsthand
knowledge of MMY or his teachings.

Did you really think your report was going to make
all the TBs curl up into a fetal position?  What
an odd fantasy.
