What evangelical belief system? That's the beauty of TM- all you
really have to do with TM is use the mantra as instructed. That's
it. There is a lot of information and speculation surrounding the
technique, like where it comes from and what it means, but that
doesn't mean an evangelical belief system needs to be adopted, or
even questioned, in order to practice TM correctly. Any belief
system, thought to be valid or not, can just be ignored during the
successful practice of TM. Other than the mechanical practice,
everything else is optional.
