Exactly. And that is ALL that they are. I have never written anything to this forum that was NOT opinion. And I hope that I have never tried to convince anyone that my opinion was some kind of "truth" or "Truth." The only thing I *deal in* is opinions, and many times not even that. Sometimes when I post some- thing here about a certain question, I'm merely playing with the question, having fun with it. I don't know enough about the question yet to even *have* an opinion. So it often baffles me when another poster or posters rush in and accuse me of trying to convince people of something or other, or to sell them something. I have nothing to sell. Here -- I'll even make it official -- I HAVE NOTHING TO SELL. I DON'T KNOW THE "TRUTH." I DON'T EVEN BELIEVE THERE IS SUCH A THING. THE ONLY THING I HAVE IS THE OCCASIONAL SHORT- LIVED OPINION. YOU CAN HAVE A DIFFERENT ONE, AND IT'S NO SWEAT OFF MY BALLS. YOUR OPINION IS JUST AS "GOOD" AND JUST AS "VALID" AS MINE, AND *NEITHER* OF THEM HAS ANYTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH "TRUTH." There. That's settled. :-) That said, I do have an OPINION that those who react to my OPINIONS as if they were some kind of affront or attack against them tend, in my OPINION, to be the posters to this forum who feel that they DO deal in "Truth." They go out of their way to turn innocent exchanges of opinion into arguments that they believe can be "won" and confrontations that they similarly believe can be "won." It doesn't have to be that way. Shemp arrived back on the scene with a post that was *clearly* intended to provoke an angry reaction among the Amma followers here. They didn't take the bait. The thread died. Other similar attempts to troll for attention have died a similar well-deserved death, because NO ONE FELL FOR THEM. I might suggest that there is a lesson to be learned there. OPINIONS. Like assholes, everybody's got one. No one's is less smelly than anyone else's. To quote "The Princess Bride," anyone who says differently is trying to sell you something.
