Please don't post commercial announcements in the main message area.
See the Database, Links and Files sections for folders that have been
set up listing books, CDs, DVDs and other items for trade, a Fairfield
ride board, local events, hiring/looking for work announcements,
informative articles, useful, links, etc.

I'm all for supporting local businesses, but until Rick changes the
rules, as moderator, I gotta ask that ads for commercial ventures not
be posted to FFL. Thanks.

I think I should change the guidelines slightly, although I'll have to give
some thought to how, because I myself post commercial announcements
occasionally, if I feel they will be of particular interest. I've posted
things about Jyotish, concerts, and a few other things. So I don't want to
be a hypocrite. If anyone has some suggestions as to how we can handle this
issue tactfully, I'm all ears.

I just got back from the New Monsoon concert. They weren't as good as last
summer, as they were missing the table player and one of the percussionists,
and they were too loud for my taste, but they were very good nonetheless.
They say they want to come back to FF regularly.
