Special City Council Train Horn Safety Committee Meeting Tomorrow Saturday April 28th at 2:30 p.m. Fairfield City Hall 112 South Main St. (Just south of Burlington) Please Come and Bring your Friends and Family
_____ Dear Friends, The first public meeting with the City Council Safety Committee on the quiet train project is scheduled for tomorrow Sat. April 28th at 2:30 p.m. at City Hall. This officially launches our efforts to accomplish this and a good show of support will go a long way to end loud train horn noise. So please plan to attend this meeting. I know it Saturday but a physical show of support that will add to all of the great work that has been accomplished thus far. We need to support those council members that support this project and have to open just one more mind to move ahead. It would be great to have unanimous support going to the full city council. Counting both the money we have in the bank and pledges we have now achieved our goal of raising half the expected cost of the crossing improvements! But we still need to raise more money! If you are suddenly seized with the desire to make a donation, send it to: ALF-Fairfield Train Safety & Quiet Zone, PO Box 2302, Fairfield, Iowa 52556. Thanks Again, Bill Blackmore For more info call or email Bill Blackmore <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 919-1118 <http://www.fairfieldquietzone.org/> www.fairfieldquietzone.org
