Some people. Many are in the care of their families, unable to function for a variety of reasons. This seems to me to mainly be the result of too much rounding on certain fragile people. > 2. Are dysfunctional people attracted to TM? I think mildly dysfunctional people are attracted to getting into the tm group. Ask around ffld and you'll find about 2/3 came from dysfunctional families, mainly alcoholics, good amount of sexual abuse among the women. Still looking for idealistic family feeling and trained to not rock the boat by dealing honestly with obvious problems in the family or authority figures. > 3. Do functional people become dysfunctional when they meditate and work together in groups? Maybe in the inner tmo circles when you buy into all the belief systems and are constantly monitored, but I don't think so with tm in general, though most of the functional and individualistic people have gradually left or been forced out. > 4. I think it always takes two to tango - it's top down and bottom up both. > 5. All of the above.
