Actually, as the question mark in the title of the paper indicates, Hagelin is quite clear that he is *speculating*. And, of course, there are plenty of highly credentialed non-TM physicists and mathematicians who are also working on integrating consciousness and physics (e.g., Penrose). I don't suppose you'd care to be specific as to why Hagelin's paper is "hilarious," would you?
