engage in a discussion about the movement

You were quite right to refuse the conversion Turquoiose, since one
should ONLY practice a technique that has hundreds of studies
published in peer-reviewed scientific journals decade after deacade.
Everything else is like untested base jumping.

So all the Buddhist, Hindu, Christian, etc., meditators who have been
practicing all these millennia were making a mistake because their practices
weren't studied and published in peer reviewed journals? Or are you saying
that that was OK for them, before there were studies on TM in peer reviewed
journals, but now that there are, everyone in the world who practices a form
of meditation other than TM is mistaken? Please clarify.
