You may also want to keep in mind that the unstated yet official position of the power brokers in the country, both Repubs and Dems is strongly in favor of illegal immigration- it allows for greater economic exploitation of a permanent underclass. The aim of those power brokers is to continually show just one side of the coin and keep the focus on "those damned illegals", when it is in fact a US policy decision to continue to attract, admit, and employ people from Mexico and Central America illegally. :-)
