If it's true, that would be nothing to be ashamed of. Apparently lots of teachers took a tumble with their female students - Marshy, Bevan, Sai, Trungpa, Osel, Da, Kalu, Sogyal, not to mention Krishna the Murti, Swami Rama of the Himalayas, and the Zen Master Rama.
