No, I'm not debating the effectiveness of the technique itself Jim,
only an essential componet is being left out. MMY has relegated this
function to ones own Religion. 

The only problem is TM has become Science in lieu of Religion, instead
of Science AND Religion, which is very effective and was in my opinion
Patanjali's intent.

Hey it was a compromise MMY had/or decided to make in order to
proclaim "thru the window of science we see the dawn of the age of
enlightenment", but whenever you compromise something you lose some of
its integrity and effectiveness.

Have you ever heard MMY say, "TM is designed to be a compliment to
ones Religion"????????????   I haven't!
